Commentary and our Opinion: Mechanic's Responds.com® News, LLC believes Atlanta BBB President and Front Man Fred Elsberry is crooked and is a liar who is trying to destroy Mechanic's Heating & Air Conditioning, LLC. As reported in November 2010, by ABC reporter Brian Ross, the BBB is a crooked organization only interested in making money. This must stop!

In their Complaint to the OCP, Mechanic's Heating & Air Conditioning, LLC states the following:
On or about March 9, 2012 NBC 11Alive in Atlanta, Georgia aired a story wherein Fred Elsberry of the Atlanta BBB stated that the highest grade Mechanic’s Heating and Air Conditioning, LLC had reached with the Atlanta BBB was a "D".
This statement was a lie and he knew it to be false when he said it. Attached to this letter is a true and correct copy of a screen shot showing Mechanic’s Heating and Air Conditioning, LLC reached the grade of a C on February 21, 2012 right before Mr. Elsberry took to the air to slander and defame our Company.
We are requesting an investigation in this matter and we believe that Mr. Fred Elsberry along with the Atlanta BBB has violated The Fair Business Practices Act of 1975 among other statutes.
The Fair Business Practices Act of 1975 10.1.391 states: "The purpose of this part shall be to protect consumers and legitimate business enterprises from unfair or deceptive practices in the conduct of any trade or commerce in part or wholly in the state.
10.1.392.28 states: "Trade" and "commerce" mean the advertising, distribution, sale, lease, or offering for distribution, sale, or lease of any goods, services, or any property, tangible or intangible, real, personal, or mixed, or any other article, commodity, or thing of value."
10.1.393. (b)(5) "Representing that goods or services have sponsorship, approval, characteristics, ingredients, uses, benefits, or quantities that they do not have or that a person has a sponsorship, approval, status, affiliation, or connection that he or she does not have;
(7) Representing that goods or services are of a particular standard, quality, or grade or that goods are of a particular style or model, if they are of another;
10.1.393. (b) (8) "Disparaging goods, services, or business of another by false or misleading representation."
We have been disparaged by false and misleading statements from Mr. Fred Elsberry along with the Atlanta BBB.
We hope you start an investigation immediately, issue subpoenas and punish this corrupt organization.
